- Introduction and Scope
These Terms and Conditions apply to purchases made through the Trailfirestove website and to the use of our online retail services.
In these Terms and Conditions, “Trailfirestove,” “we,” and “our” refer to the business entity operating under the Trailfirestove brand. “Customer,” “you,” and “your” refer to the individual or entity using our website or placing an order.
By placing an order, you agree to the terms applicable to that purchase. Before finalizing your order, please carefully review the product descriptions, pricing, shipping information, and relevant policies displayed on our website.
These terms are intended to comply with the laws of Singapore, as well as any mandatory consumer protection laws applicable to our service of consumers in the European market. Nothing in these terms excludes any consumer rights that cannot be excluded by law.
- Products and Product Information
Trailfirestove offers camping wood stoves and related outdoor cooking products.
Product descriptions, images, dimensions, specifications, included components, and other relevant information are provided on the respective product pages. Customers should carefully review this information before placing an order.
We exercise reasonable care in preparing product listings and updating information. Should we discover a significant error that affects an order, we will contact the customer to explain the issue and discuss potential solutions in accordance with applicable law.
Customers must read the instructions provided with the products and adhere to all regulations regarding outdoor fire use, campsite rules, ventilation, and the operation of wood-burning equipment.
- Orders and Formation of Contract
An order submitted through our website constitutes an offer to purchase the selected products at the indicated price and under the terms specified at checkout.
An automated order confirmation merely acknowledges receipt of the order and does not necessarily constitute formal acceptance. A contract of purchase is formed only when we explicitly accept the order—either by confirming the order or through other forms of formal acceptance.
We reserve the right to decline or cancel an order for legitimate and objectively reasonable grounds, including but not limited to significant errors in pricing or product information, suspected unauthorized activity, or an inability to fulfill the order for other reasons. If we cancel an order for which payment has already been collected, we will refund the corresponding amount.
We will not use these terms to deprive consumers of their statutory rights, nor will we arbitrarily cancel orders that have already been confirmed.
Customers are responsible for providing accurate contact and delivery information at checkout. Please contact us promptly if you discover any errors in the information provided.
- Pricing and Payment
Product prices and applicable delivery fees will be displayed before an order is submitted. The total amount payable will be shown during the checkout process, prior to the completion of payment.
Where applicable, taxes, duties, or other mandatory charges will be disclosed in accordance with the regulations governing the transaction. If required by law, any import-related costs to be borne by the customer will be communicated prior to purchase.
Payments are processed via the Stripe platform; customers may select from the payment methods provided on the checkout page. An order becomes effective only upon payment authorization and confirmation.
In accordance with these Terms and Conditions, Trailfirestove does not offer subscription services. Unless explicitly stated otherwise at checkout, each purchase is considered a separate, independent transaction.
If a payment fails or cannot be confirmed, the order may not be processed until the relevant payment issue is resolved. We do not consider a failed payment to constitute a completed purchase.
- Delivery and Shipping
5.1 Delivery Destinations and Carriers
Trailfirestove serves customers in the European market; you may view your selected market on the checkout page. Depending on the destination and service availability, we arrange delivery through recognized carriers, including DHL, FedEx, and UPS Priority services.
The specific carrier and service used for an order may depend on the delivery destination, package requirements, and available shipping arrangements.
5.2 Estimated Delivery Time
For orders shipped from Singapore, the estimated delivery time is 5–12 business days. Please note that this is an estimate, not a guaranteed delivery date.
Delivery times may be affected by carrier operations, customs processing, local delivery arrangements, public holidays, adverse weather, or other circumstances impacting transit.
In the event of an unusual delay, we will review the available tracking information and contact the relevant carrier to investigate.
5.3 Tracking Notifications
We will send order and delivery tracking notifications (where tracking information is available) to the email address provided at checkout. Updates may be issued at the following stages:
Order dispatch.
Arrival at a carrier logistics hub or other recorded transit point.
Arrival at a local delivery facility.
Other significant tracking events provided by the carrier.
Customers should check both their inbox and spam/junk folders for these notifications. If tracking information is unavailable or appears inconsistent, please contact us at: stove@trailfirestove.com.
5.4 Delayed or Lost Orders
If an order does not arrive within the estimated delivery timeframe, please contact us and provide your order number.
We will review the shipment details and, where appropriate, initiate an investigation with the carrier. We will assess the situation based on existing tracking records and the findings of the carrier’s investigation.
If an order is confirmed as lost, or if a delay or non-delivery entitles the customer to compensation under applicable law, we will arrange an appropriate resolution. Depending on the specific circumstances and the customer’s legal rights, this may include a replacement of the items or a full refund.
If applicable law grants the customer the right to a refund or other remedies, we will not compel the customer to accept a replacement.
5.5 Delivery Risk and Receipt of Goods
For orders where delivery is arranged by Trailfirestove, the risk of loss or damage to the goods remains with us until the goods are physically received by the customer or a third party designated by the customer (other than the carrier).
If applicable law recognizes a scenario where a customer engages their own carrier—rather than one provided by Trailfirestove—this exception shall apply to the extent permitted by law.
The transfer of risk does not waive any rights the customer may have regarding goods that are defective, damaged, or otherwise do not conform to the terms of the contract.
Customers are expected to provide a valid delivery address and to contact us promptly if logistics tracking information indicates any issues with delivery.
- Right of Return: 14-Day Return Period
6.1 Right of Return
For online purchases subject to EU consumer return regulations, consumers generally have the right to return goods without providing a reason within 14 days of the date the goods are received by the customer or a designated recipient (other than the carrier).
If an order consists of multiple items delivered in separate shipments, the applicable return period shall be calculated in accordance with relevant legal requirements.
To exercise this right, please submit a clear request for return to:
Email: stove@trailfirestove.com
Please include your order number, the items in question, and a clear statement of your intent to return the goods. You may use our provided return form template, though doing so is not mandatory.
A return notice is considered timely if it is sent before the applicable return period expires.
6.2 Returning Goods
Once you have notified us of your decision to withdraw from the order, you must return the goods promptly—and in any event, no later than 14 days from the date of your notification—unless we have offered to collect the items ourselves or applicable law provides otherwise.
Please contact us before returning any items so that we may provide the correct return address and instructions.
Unless otherwise agreed or required by applicable law, the customer shall bear the direct costs of returning goods under the statutory withdrawal process, provided that this obligation has been disclosed in accordance with legal requirements.
Customers may handle the goods only to the extent reasonably necessary to establish their nature, characteristics, and functionality. If the handling of the goods goes beyond what is necessary for inspection and results in a reduction in their value, the customer may be required to bear the cost of such loss in value, to the extent permitted by law.
6.3 Returns and Refunds
When you exercise your valid right to return an item (cancel your purchase), we will provide a refund in accordance with applicable law, including—where required by law—the shipping costs incurred for our most economical standard delivery method.
We will process your refund as soon as possible after receiving your notice of return, and no later than 14 days thereafter. If we have not yet received the returned goods and you have not provided proof that they have been sent back, we reserve the right to withhold the refund until we either receive the goods or receive proof of their return—whichever occurs first.
Refunds will generally be issued via the same payment method used for the original transaction, unless you explicitly agree to an alternative method that does not incur any additional costs for you.
If you chose a delivery method more expensive than our “most economical standard delivery method,” we will not refund the additional shipping costs, to the extent permitted by law.
6.4 Exceptions
The statutory right to return an item (cancel a purchase) does not apply to certain categories of goods or types of transactions explicitly excluded by law. Should Trailfirestove invoke an exception, it must be applicable to the specific product and transaction in question.
If the law does not permit “unsealed goods” or “removed packaging” as valid grounds for excluding a return, we will not deny your return request solely on these bases.
- Damaged, Defective, or Incorrectly Shipped Items
If your order arrives damaged, contains incorrect items, or is defective, please contact us at stove@trailfirestove.com.
To help us assess the situation, please provide the following information:
Your order number.
A description of the damage, defect, or discrepancy.
Clear photographs (where possible) showing the item and the issue in question.
For items that arrive damaged, Trailfirestove may conduct an initial review based on the photographs and order information you provide. In line with our customer service policy, if the evidence is sufficient and the circumstances allow, we may process a refund or replacement directly, without requiring you to return the damaged item. Should further information be required, we will clearly inform you of what needs to be provided. If you are asked to return an item, the process will strictly adhere to applicable legal requirements, including rules regarding the allocation of costs associated with handling defective or non-conforming goods. In the event that a product does not conform to the contract, EU consumers are entitled to seek remedies under applicable law. Depending on the specific statutory conditions, these remedies may include free repair or replacement, a price reduction, or the termination of the contract with a full refund. Any applicable statutory warranty periods, as well as other rights granted to consumers under the laws of their respective countries, remain unaffected.
Reports concerning damaged or faulty products will be assessed on a case-by-case basis. Nothing in this section limits the statutory rights to which consumers are entitled.
- Order Cancellation and Modification
If you wish to cancel or modify an order before it has been dispatched, please contact us as soon as possible at stove@trailfirestove.com, providing your order number.
We will check the status of your order and inform you whether the requested changes can be made prior to dispatch. Once an order has been dispatched, statutory cancellation procedures or other relevant return policies may apply.
Nothing in these terms limits a consumer’s statutory right to cancel an eligible distance purchase within the legally prescribed period.
If Trailfirestove cancels an order after payment has been received, we will refund the amount paid for that order.
- Customer Responsibilities and Compliant Use
Customers must provide accurate information when placing an order and must not intentionally use this website for illegal purposes, fraudulent transactions, or any activities that interfere with the proper operation of the website.
Prohibited actions include: submitting order information that contains significant falsehoods, attempting unauthorized access to website features, interfering with the transactions of other customers, or using the website in a manner that violates applicable laws.
If there are reasonable grounds to suspect illegal activity or a serious breach of these terms, we may take necessary measures, including reviewing orders, requesting additional information, declining orders that have not yet been accepted, or restricting access to the extent permitted by law.
Any action affecting a confirmed order or consumer rights shall be subject to the provisions of applicable law.
- Intellectual Property
Original text, visual materials, and other content provided by Trailfirestove on this website are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
Unless permitted by law or expressly authorized in writing, the content of this website may not be copied, republished, distributed, or used for commercial purposes without permission.
Nothing in these terms constitutes a transfer of intellectual property ownership to the customer. These terms do not limit any rights that a customer may have under mandatory legal provisions.
- Limitation of Liability
To the extent permitted by applicable law, Trailfirestove shall not be liable for indirect or consequential losses that were not reasonably foreseeable at the time the purchase contract was concluded (provided that such exclusion of liability complies with legal requirements). To the extent permitted by applicable law, we shall not be held liable for any losses resulting from a customer’s failure to provide accurate order information or to follow product instructions, provided that such losses are indeed caused by these actions.
Nothing in these terms shall exclude or limit any liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law, including liability for fraud, fraudulent misrepresentation, personal injury or death caused by negligence (where applicable), or any mandatory consumer rights and remedies provided by law.
Nothing in these terms is intended to exclude liability arising from goods failing to conform to the terms of the contract (where applicable law provides for such remedies).
- Complaints and Dispute Resolution
If you have any questions or are dissatisfied with your order, products, or services, please contact us first at stove@trailfirestove.com, providing your order number and a description of the situation.
We will assess the information you provide and aim to respond within a reasonable timeframe. If the issue cannot be resolved immediately, we may request further information from you to facilitate a more thorough assessment.
Nothing in these terms limits your right to contact relevant consumer protection agencies, seek assistance from dispute resolution bodies, or initiate legal proceedings in a court of competent jurisdiction.
Any disputes will be handled in accordance with applicable law and the jurisdictional rules governing the transaction.
- Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of Singapore; however, this is subject to any mandatory legal provisions in the consumer’s country or region of residence.
If you reside in a European Union member state, any mandatory consumer protection rights granted by applicable law—which cannot be excluded by contract—shall remain in full effect.
Nothing in these terms deprives you of your right to bring legal action before a court of competent jurisdiction, as provided for under relevant consumer protection legislation.
- Amendments to Terms
We may update these Terms and Conditions to reflect changes in our business practices, website operations, or applicable legal requirements.
The latest version will be posted on our website, accompanied by the date of the last update. Unless otherwise permitted by applicable law, such changes will not retroactively diminish any rights you have already acquired under an existing purchase contract.
The terms applicable to a specific order shall be determined in accordance with the contract and relevant legal requirements.
- Severability
If any provision of these Terms and Conditions is found to be unlawful, invalid, or unenforceable, it shall be applied to the fullest extent permitted by law or, where appropriate, deemed severable from the remaining terms.
The remaining provisions shall continue to be valid and enforceable to the fullest extent permitted by law. Nothing in these terms shall be interpreted as allowing any provision to override mandatory consumer protection measures. 16. Contact Information
